Why choose this program?
In the Expert in Youth Football online course, you will learn to identify, understand, and transport to the sporting reality the psycho-pedagogical principles of football training in the formative stage. You will learn the MBP methodology in depth, mastering how to plan, according to the evolutionary stage of your players, the different content and concepts throughout the season, and design and implement the different didactic strategies that represent them.
You will understand how to integrate the role of the coach in the formation of values. You will also learn to adopt an evolutionary vision of physical preparation, focusing on the psychomotor development of players, to contextualize the conditional work within the technical, tactical, and collective game training. You will also be able to identify the bases of sensory training and its operation from evaluative techniques focused on the creation of metacognitive learning.
Ultimately, you will learn to observe the game with tactical intentions and to use a game model suitable for all the different youth ages in football.
COMPLEMENT YOUR TRAINING
Furthermore, you can receive training in person in Barcelona through the Advanced Course in Youth Football. Immerse yourself in a unique experience of over 35 hours, including theoretical classes, practical workshops, coaching talks, live match analysis, on-field training sessions, and much more. Course structure
The structure of the course is divided into 4 main modules (Planning, Methodology, Physical Development and Match Analysis). We will share, step by step, all the key insights of a complete, transversal, innovative and coherent methodology, answering the 4 questions that every methodology must answer:
- Why? Before we start to train, it is useful to review what the authors, who have dedicated their lives to studying the training processes of young players, state in their theories. In addition, it is advisable to develop a solid proposal that will support all the decisions and actions that will follow. It is the argument of why we will do things one way or another.
- What to train? Identification of the game understanding stage of our players to choose the content and concepts to train, to help them to make the step up to the next level.
- When to train it? Once we have chosen the content and concepts, it is very important to organize them over time. The planning and programming process with each of its steps will help us to organize all the training objectives throughout the season in a coherent way and adjusted to the needs of our players.
- How to train it? Once we go out to the field, it is time to train! We will see all the resources that we have as coaches, to learn how to design tasks and training sessions to maximize the learning of our players depending on the objective.

Identify how children understand football in order to select, programme and train the content appropriate to their developmental stage.
Use the ludological tests to understand in which developmental stage the players are in, and thus, obtain the training content for their season training programme.
Analyse a live match to identify the player’s level of game understanding and put into practice what has been learned in the classroom. Both for the Egocentric and Summative stages.
Observe a training session to understand what training content appears and relate it to the didactic strategies.
